DAY 1 : SALVADOR / ARRIVAL
International / domestic flight arrival (schedule and flight number to confirm). Reception at the airport and private transportation to the hotel. Check-in, installation and rest of the day at leisure.

DAY 2 : SALVADOR / PELOURINHO & HISTORICAL CITY CENTRE
At 09:30, meeting in the hotel lobby with an English-speaking guide. Guided visit of the “Pelourinho”, where the history and energy of Salvador are centred. Walking among traditional houses and churches. Salvador reveals the secrets of the afro-Brazilian religion and its baroque treasures. The “Pelourinho” surprises travellers on every corner: a “Batuque”; a cold beer; a ‘berimbau “; a “roda de Capoeira “. From the “Elevador Lacerda”, an amazing view of the Baia de Todos os Santos; the area “do Comercio”, and the souvenir mercado modelo. On the other side the “Praça da Sé”; and the Museum of Afro-Brazilian culture, the pulsating heart of Salvador. Return to the hotel by the end of the morning. Rest of the day at leisure.

DAY 3 : SALVADOR – PRAIA DO FORTE / COSTA DOS COQUEIROS
At 08:30, meeting in the hotel lobby with an English-speaking guide/driver. Day trip to north coast of Salvador and the area known as the Coconut Riviera. 01H30 journey for 80 km. Orientation tour in the former fisherman village, which becomes a seaside destination. TAMAR project visitation. It has been 25 years since it protects the sea turtles and the environment. Free time along the white sand beaches, by the shadows of the coconut trees or by the shops and the bars of Praia do Forte. Return to Salvador by the end of the day. Evening at leisure.

DAY 4 : SALVADOR – LENÇÓIS
At 05:30, meeting in the hotel lobby with a local Portuguese-speaking driver. Private transpotation to Salvador bus station. At 07:00, departure by collective passenger bus to Lençóis, “capital” of the Chapada Diamantina National Park. 06H30 journey for 415 km. Upon arrival, the group shall make his way to the hotel. Check-in, installation at the hotel and rest of the day leisure. The surroundings offers many attractions and offers a first step into the National Park and its wonders. Walking visit into the historical city centre built around diamond mining. Bath in Serrano’s pool, overlooking the small town, Walk to the Grizante River & its natural toboggan.

DAY 5 : LENÇÓIS / TORRINHA, POÇO DO DIABO & MORRO DO PAI INACIO
At 08:30, meeting in the hotel lobby with an English-speaking guide. Itinerant visit to discover the Chapada Diamantina National Park main attractions. Speleological stop to visit the cave of Torrinha, between gypsum needles and calcite bowls. Afterwards, direction to the “Poço do Diabo”, a powerful invitation to bath. After lunch, ascent to the “Morro do Pai Ignacio”, a lonely peak who offers impressive views of the regional panorama and the Brazilian immensity. Return to Lençóis by the end of the day. Evening at leisure.

DAY 6 : LENÇÓIS – CACHOEIRA DA FUMAÇA – LENÇÓIS
At 08:30, meeting in the hotel lobby with an English-speaking guide. Private transpotation to the tiny hippy born village of Caeté Açú. Journey of 01H20 for 80 km. A small path is the starting point to reach the Fumaça Waterfall. 03H00 walk for 300 meters uphill. The “smoking cascade” appears after the ascension on the sides of Capão Valley. Hidden between the stones, at 370 meters high, it is the highest waterfall in Brazil. Its nickname comes from the refreshing halo created by winds that sweep the rocky canyon. Picnic on the mountain’s top. The track goes back the same way to a refreshing swim in the Riachinho waters. Return to Lençóis, by the end of the day. Evening at leisure.

DAY 7 : LENÇÓIS – MARIMBUS – LENÇÓIS
At 09:00, meeting in the hotel lobby with an English-speaking guide. Direction to the Remanso. There, embark on canoes for a 02H00 silent navigation, into a lake area; to discover the local fauna and flora. Short hike to a local lunch. After lunch, time to relax by the Roncador river banks. Return to Remanso for a walk through the local rainforest. The soft trek, goes through the flooded area to offer nice panoramas on the Chapada Canyons. Return to Lençóis by the end of the day. Evening at leisure.

DAY 8 : LENÇÓIS – SALVADOR / DEPARTURE
At 06:00, the group shall make his way to Lençóis bus station. At 13:00, departure by collective passenger bus to Salvador. 06H30 journey to 415 km. Upon arrival, reception at the bus station and private transpotation to the airport. International / domestic flight (schedule and flight number to confirm).
Bus ticket included. Meals not included. Night at the hotel.
